My favorite meal was the very first dinner we had in Dublin - a delicious beef stew, and a fabulous cappuccino that Betsy and I split between us. Unfortunately I got sick to my stomach and couldn't finish. The most distinctive "local" dish I tried was haggis, neeps, and tatties, in Scotland. (Neeps = turnips, I think, and tatties = mashed potatoes.) That was pretty good, though it didn't taste all that unusual. No cravings that I can remember!
