There is a moment in the show where Chief O’Brien makes reference to being the descendant of a famous Irish King. Tough to be so famous
The More You Know
I forget where this came from, but somebody once said that he’d never met an Irishman who didn’t claim to be descended from kings. This may be a joke on that, like all the jokes about Chekhov claiming various things were invented or created in Russia.
